This image is an attempt to create more or less representational 
3d imagesof antiquarian books (my day job).
The meshes were textured using scans of books in my personal Irish literature collection.
A somewhat earlier version of this image won an Honorable Mention
in the Caligari Monthly Image Contest for February 1999
