Ash


Ash is the main character of pokemon. He is trying desperately to become the best pokemon trainer in the world. To accomplish this he'll need to put in many hours of training and fighting other trainers, but luckily Ash has his friend Pikachu to help him out.

Ash is excitable, energetic, and rash. He doesn't always think things out to the best of his ability, but he's a tough kid, and totally dedicated to pokemon training.

In Japan, the voice actor for Ash (Satoshi in the Japanese series), is Matsumoto Rica.

Misty


Misty is Ash's friend who has also joined in the race to be greatest Pokemon trainer in the world. Quite frequently she'll have ot bail Ash out of trouble or help him in some other manner.

MIsty tends to be much more down to earth than Ash, and much less probable to jump into any less than safe situations. Misty also prefers Pokemon that get their powers from the water element.

In Japan, Misty's voice actress is Iizuka Mayumi.










Brock


Frankly, I know next to nothing about Brock, but I'll tell you what I know:

Brock is quiet and doesn't say much, or act as outgoing as Misty or Ash. He is also in the running for the Greatest Pokemon trainer, though he prefers Pokemon that get their powers from the Element of Earth. He often gives out sound advice and is perhaps the most stable of the group.

Brock's Japanese voice actor is Ueda Yuuji.





Pikachu


PIkachu was the first pokemon Ash ever got, and though they went through a small rough period, they soon became the best of friends. Pikachu is very loyal to Ash, and is perhaps his strongest ally.

Pikachu has the power to conduct electricity and propel it at anyone he wishes. These blasts can range from a small shock to giant explosions!

And besides all that, he's so darned cute it hurts.

Team Rocket


Team Rocket are the henchmen for the Big Boss; a bad guy who is trying to steal the world's rarest Pokemon.

Team Rocket consist of Jesse, the red haired ego maniac, James, the blue haired ego maniac, and Meowth, a nasty little cat Pokemon.

Ever since getting their butts kicked by Pikachu, they've been hounding Ash, waiting for a chance to steal him. Oh, and they are also very found of their motto.
