TEACHING GRANT
Proposal Format

All proposals must adhere to the following format to be considered:

I. Cover Page
       
- Title of proposal
        - Names, addresses and telephone numbers of individual team members
        - School name and address
        - Brief abstract of project

II. What is the purpose of this project?

III. What are the objectives of this project?

IV. Project description:
        - Who will participate?
        - Will parents or other adults be involved?
        - What will the teacher do?
        - What will the students do?

V. What is the timeline for this project?

VI. How will you assess this project?

VII. What is the budget for this project?
       
- Please be specific about how the monies will be spent.
        - Monies may not be used for stipends or salaries.
        - Monies may not be used for travel to professional meetings or release time.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF RECIPIENT

A recipient of a teaching grant must submit a shore article to the editor of CONNection. This article should be submitted within one year of the receipt of this grant. 

Or the recipient may choose to submit a proposal to present at the Connecticut Reading Conference upon completion of the project.

GRANT APPLICATION
