Mohawk Tap Boxes and Die Boxes are injection molded with high-impact plastic resins. Tap boxes are available for packaging taps in the range from NO. 0 through 1" diameter. Die boxes accept round and hexagonal shaped dies up to 3" O.D. by 1" thick. All boxes are produced in natural colored bottoms, and either natural color or clear tops. The two-piece hinged boxes close firmly with a sturdy snap~lock. 

	Mohawk Tap Boxes are designed specifically for protecting most variations of taps. The inside top lid and internal bottom tray each have a molded edge of 60 degrees to engage the tap threads and prevent shucking within the box. Boxes designed for packaging two layers of taps come with foam cushioning devices to separate the layers. Tap boxes now offered include standard 5-, 10- and 12- piece packages, and tap set boxes for a 3-piece taper, plug and bottoming package.
Mohawk Die Boxes are designed specifically for the round and hexagonal shaped dies. These boxes for individual packaging of dies are available in four sizes. Each box has molded internal rings centered to the basic box size to protect shifting or rattling. Square dies can be packaged in the Mohawk Universal boxes.
Mohawk Universal Boxes are molded in the same basic design as our tap and die boxes, but without internal partitions or centering rings. Currently available in sizes A, B, C and D, these boxes offer unrestricted use of the internal space. Originally developed for packaging square dies, Universal boxes can be used to hold other cutting tools or gauges. Use Mohawk foam cushion devices to position and hold your tools neatly and firmly within the package.

Mohawk offers a decorating service to enhance the appearance of the package, and provide the manufacturers name, logo and general information. Mohawk boxes can be purchased with screen printing on the top surface of the box. 

Customers are to supply film positives sized to each size box. Any other form of artwork such as sketches, letterheads, drawings, glossies, etc., can be developed into the proper form for screen preparation. These alternate forms will incur an additional cost which will be quoted prior to proceeding.

Shipping

Boxes will be shipped to the customer fully assembled with the snap-lock disengaged. Shipping cartons contain the following quantities by size: A and B, 500 boxes per carton; 0 and D, 250 boxes per carton; E, 192 boxes per carton; and F, 208 boxes per carton. Orders will be filled to the nearest full shipping carton. Foam cushioning devices are shipped in separate cartons.

General Characteristics

In Mohawk's clear plastic tube containers a product can be shipped fully displayed and safely. Our crystal clear tubing has almost twice the wall thickness of standard flexible containers and double the protection. The unique Mohawk Square End Closures provide improved shock and vibration resistance whereby a series of internal fins position your product, preventing nicks and scratches. Breakage of delicate items such as thermometers and electronic parts can be kept to a minimum with this creative package design. Plain round closures are also available.

The Mohawk Clear Plastic Tube Package is available in eight standard diameters with four standard color closures. The open-end tube is supplied separately from the closures. Tubing in 4 - 6 foot lengths are available from stock. Custom-cut lengths between 1-112" and 50" are available in all eight diameters.

Mohawk's Clear Plastic Tube Package has unlimited potential when used as a container for almost any product that will fit inside the wide range of tube diameters available. Select the size tube that will accept your product from the tubing specifications by comparing the actual inside diameter. Then give us a call for free tubing samples (cut to a suitable length) and matching end closures, so that you can then evaluate the finished package.
