Above. Conical tower was added to convert rear suspension to coil over type. Note also fiberglas transaxle cover--quite original and correct. Above: Although the fiberglas flare is an authentic factory part, it's not original to this car, which had hand hammered steel flares. If you look closely, you can see where it's pop-rivited to steel plates which hold studs to attach the flare to the body. The plastic "door edging" material on the top edge is also original Abarth. The wheel above is incorrect.
Above: Tach was originally a chronometric unit, now missing from the car. Odd gauge above the speedometer is also not original, nor the steering wheel, probably installed by Al Cosntino. The small gauge and the mount in the center of the dash is correct. Note leg brace on door, a factory racing item. Above: 7" X 13 Campagnolo "Electron" magnesium wheels like this one were used on all late 1000 TC and TCR, but probably not on this one when it was new.
