Rarest of rare, these are photos of a dual circuit brake master cylinder made by Abarth for the 1960 Record Monza 1000 Bialbero. They appear to have been available only for that year. Two of these cars passed through my hands. Both had the same brake master cylinder. Why they were not on later models has always been a puzzle to me. This one is now on my 1963 1000 Monomille GT.
Above: Disassembled, ready for reassembly. Note that the top photo shows the correct placement of the fluid inlet with the banjo on the forward cylinder that serves the front brakes. The bore is 7/8." It uses standard Fiat 7/8" bore wheel cylinder seals.
