The following Tressy dolls are just a small sampling from my personal Tressy collection.
Hitting the scene in 1963, and stiff competition
for Mattel’s Barbie doll, Tressy doll was not only attractive and had a fabulous line of clothing,
but also had a special feature unlike any
other fashion doll of the time.
A secret grow hair strand!
This allowed budding young beauticians to be creative and practice their coiffure skills.
Tressy was an instant success!
As her name implies, you will see just how
versatile her hair can be.
