Welcome to third grade!  This year there are 21 children in my classroom.  It is a busy year filled with projects, experiments, research and many varied activities.  Organization is an important skill that we practice every day and throughout the entire school year.  Communication is another important skill and strategy.  The students apply this skill in math, reading, writing, science, social studies and Steps to Respect.  I communicate through the written word and the spoken word.  Humor is a key part of this communication.  I want my students to enjoy the school day and to appreciate the gift of learning.  Communication is also important between the home and school.  I encourage parents to contact me when they need clarification on homework, classroom procedures, or any item that appears to be confusing.  Please leave a message on my voicemail, or email me here at school.

 Here is a basic schedule that includes our “specials”.  We will also have one day for library book exchange and we will practice keyboarding skills one day per week.  Happy Learning!
