Halloween!

	One to One Correspondence: One Halloween literacy activity involved the children using pretend witches' fingers. The students pointed to each word as they read the text in student-made Halloween books. This helped the children to understand that one spoken word is represented by one written word.
After reading fiction and non-fiction books about spiders, the students made funny spiders and sang a spider song.
