Autocad is the top Computer Aided Design (CAD) program in the world. It is used by architects as well as many other professionals to create drawings. These files are called DRAWING files and have a file extension of .DWG and can also be saved as .DWF files (Drawing Web Format) that can be shared over the internet. Normally you would have to have Autocad to see or print these drawings, but Voloview allows you to view them with Internet Explorer (Netscape also works I am told). Of course AOL probably does not. Click on the link below to go to download volovec.exe and save to disk on your desktop. Then double click on the volovec.exe icon and the program will install
Download Voloview now
You then need to download a dll patch (axiov.dll)or you will get "file not found" errors in Internet Explorer. Download this to your desktop and then close Internet Explorer and copy axiov.dll from your desktop to c:\Program Files\Autodesk Volo View folder and say yes when it asks if you want to overwrite.
Download the dll patch now
Be sure to reboot before trying to use Voloview.
