Off Loading
Truck-to-Tank Fill Point Controller
|
Phillips Pump FPC series fill point controllers are
designed for use with a transport off-loading pump or for fuel drops with a
pumper truck to control the transfer of fuel to above ground storage tanks. With
enclosures suitable for outdoor use, or with explosion proof enclosures for
hazardous areas, our FPC controllers provides the circuitry for monitoring tank
levels and alarm sensing points. Bright LED alarm lights and a loud sounding
horn warn of alarm conditions with contact points provided for controlling
external devices such as solenoid valves, pumps or remote alarm stations.
While the controls are usable with a variety of field sensors, our series FPC
controller is optimized for high tank level control and assures complete
safety and minimum installation cost by supplying only low current,
intrinsically safe wiring between controller and tank sensors.
With leak detection circuity that prevents the filling of leaking tanks, the
fill point controller warns the operator at the tank full 90% level. The system
allows the operator to continue filling and/or drain the fill hose up to the 95%
level at which time all filling operations are locked out and an alarm is
activated. Visual and audible level, leak alarms and indicating lights are also
provided.
Features:
- Lockable enclosure with controls tucked away to prevent tampering or unauthorized use
- Tank full / tank high level, and leak detected visual alarms
- Audible alarm buzzer
- Power on indicator light
- System on, off and reset push-buttons
- Able to interface with existing third party tank gauging systems or optional bi-level float switch
for tank full and tank high level warnings are available
- Optional solenoids are available for installation in the fuel supply lines to control fuel flow for multi-tank set ups and to lock out filling operations at tank full and tank high alarm levels
- Our FPC-DR series includes a digital tank level readout with the alarms listed above. The DR series
interfaces with optional continuous level transmitting probes or with existing third party tank gauging
systems.
