CONTINUOUS READING TANK
LEVEL PROBES
Phillips Pump continuous level capacitance probe is an economical and
compact level sensing device that provides a continuous electronic output
to measure levels in tanks without moving parts or internal switches.
Vertically mounted our probe are all stainless steel construction with
a teflon encapsulated inner core. An 3/4" NPT tank mounting fitting
is standard, with probe lengths up to 120" and complete with a NEMA 7
explosion proof junction box.

SINGLE LEVEL FLOAT
SENSORS
Phillips Pump single level float switch combines low cost and reliability
with fast, simple installation. Hermetically sealed reed switches
are actuated by magnets permanently bonded inside the
float and can be easily adapted to open or close a circuit on rising
or falling levels. Level switches are
shipped with normally open (closes as the
float rises) or normally closed (opens as the float rises) switch contacts.
Vertical mount oriented within 30° of vertical. Switch
ratings are suitable for any of our Phillips Pump controllers, monitors
or alarm consoles.

MULTI-LEVEL FLOAT
SENSORS
With up to 5 levels, Phillips Pump multi-level float
switches combine low cost and reliability with fast, simple installation.
Hermetically sealed reed switches are actuated by magnets
permanently bonded inside each float and can be easily adapted
to open or close a circuit on rising or falling levels. Beryllium copper
stop rings for each float provides actuate, vibration free actuation
location and easy field repair.
Level switches are shipped with normally
open (closes as the float rises) or normally
closed (opens as the float rises) switch contacts. Vertical mount oriented
within 30° of vertical. Switch ratings are
suitable for any of our Phillips Pump controllers, monitors
or alarm consoles.

DETECTION SWITCHES
Weighted, compact-sized float with slosh
shield, Phillips Pump’s HFS series provides liquid level detection for a
wide variety of applications. Designed to be suspended in stand pipes,
sumps or from tank top for leak detection duty and/or for leak and water
detection. Switch is supplied with 15 feet of PVC jacketed UL 2484
waterproof cable
Our HFS-1 series switch for oil detection
consists of a PVC slosh shield with Buna-N float.
Our HFS-2 series switch for oil and water
detection of a PVC slosh shield, Buna-N float for oil detection and a 316
SS conductivity probe for water
detection.

SIDE MOUNT BASIN &
PIPING LEAK
SENSORS
This side-wall mount sealed switch detects diesel or other fuel
oil leakage into daytank rupture basin or outer double wall
containment piping. They are compact, easy to install into
1/2" NPT threaded opening, the encased magnetic switch
is float operated and sealed against vapors. Comes complete
with explosion proof wiring enclosure. (Note: for installation
in side mounting applications only)

ENCLOSED BASIN / TANK ROOM
FLOAT TYPE LEAK DETECTION
SWITCHES
Enclosed single level switches with the addition of a liquid tight
cord grip, mounting bracket, and slosh shield. The slosh shield doubles
as protection from particulate and debris as well as from accidental
tripping. Unlike many other sensors, these are liquid tight inside and
out due to the cable cord grip.
Switch consists of all stainless steel housings with polycarbonate
shields, and Buna-N floats.
