Single And Double Wall Day Tanks
|
Phillips Pump single wall (PDT) and double wall (PDWT) series day tanks provide a ready supply of oil
or diesel fuel for boilers, diesel generators, or other stationary, engine-driven or burner-fired
equipment. With capacities ranging from 25 to 500 gallons, Phillips Pump
day tanks may be selected
for maximum fuel capacity for placement in a minimum amount of space.
All tanks are manufactured in accordance with a UL 142 label and meet NFPA 30 standards. Each Phillips
Pump day tank is constructed from 10 gauge steel, internally reinforced and seam welded to provide long lasting
life in rugged industrial and commercial environments.
Each tank is pressure tested with a 5 PSI rating, and has an internal epoxy coating with an external
chemical-resistant enamel finish over a rust-resistant primer.
Single Wall PDT Series
Our PDT series single wall day tank includes a mechanical gauge as a visual level indicator, a UL sized vent
port, a 4 1/2" diameter inspection / emergency vent port, 2" NPT manual fill port,
1" NPT pump-fill
engine supply, an engine return and overflow, and drain ports
(fitting schedule).
Each Phillips Pump Single Wall Day Tank Includes:
- Heavy gauge, seam welded, reinforced steel tank with heavy gauge steel channel support base with
mounting holes
- Mechanical tank gauge for visual level indication
- Corrosion-resistant internal epoxy coated
- Complete array of fittings and connections
- Engine supply and pump supply ports with supplied with drop tubes
- 150% and 200% optional rupture containment basins are available
- Other Phillips Pump day tank
options are available
to meet the specific requirements for each application

Double Wall PDWT Series
The Phillips Pump PDWT series double wall day tanks come complete with a higher capacity outer chamber
to protect against spills or leaks due to a high pressure rupture of, or internal damage to, the inner
day tank.
Each day tank includes a mechanical gauge as a visual level indicator, a primary tank
UL sized vent port and 4" NPT inspection / emergency vent port, a secondary containment emergency vent
port, 2" NPT manual fill port, a rupture basin leak switch port, 1" NPT pump-fill
engine supply, an engine return and overflow, and drain ports
(fitting schedule).
Each Phillips Pump Double Wall Day Tank Includes:
- Heavy gauge, seam welded, reinforced steel tank with heavy gauge steel channel support base with
mounting holes
- Mechanical tank gauge for visual level indication
- Corrosion-resistant internal epoxy coated
- Complete array of fittings and connections
- Engine supply and pump supply ports with supplied with drop tubes
- Standard 135% containment outer chamber
- Tank options are available
to meet the specific requirements for each application
