Back Pressure Regulating Valves

Phillips RVI & BPS series back pressure regulating valves are self-contained units designed to handle the most critical upstream pressure requirements typically found in fuel oil boiler loop applications. Our industrial duty back pressure regulating valve automatically maintains the desired set pressure in the loop system by relieving excess pressure into the lower pressure return side of the loop. With a fast response and available in four separate spring ranges covering from 0 to 150 PSI, these adjustable valves are ideally suited for continuous operation.

Pressure Relief Valves

Phillips Pump relief valves (series WR) for fuel oil service are capable of controlling outlet pressures up to 300 PSI.  Bodies are cast bronze, 1/2" through 2" NPT pipe thread, angle design with either bronze or optional Buna N seats for leak free service.  Typical service applications include system pressure control, balancing, and pump bypass relief.

  • Capacities: to 16 GPM
  • Maximum inlet pressure: 300 PSIG
  • Pressure range: 1 to 300 PSIG with four adjustable spring ranges
  • Sizes: 1/2" to 2"
  • Material: cast bronze body with stainless steel ball and bronze seat on 1/2" to 1 1/2" NPT; bronze plug and seat on the larger sizes
